I use photography to investigate the long-lasting effects of growing up in a haunted land that sometimes seems more lore than alive. Tapping into photography's long history with the occult, I'm trying to recreate the creeping, unsettling experiences I've encountered and strive to invoke emotions, physical responses even, in my audience. I want the spectator to feel as though they are activating, or even drawing forth their own, specters in a given space. Through photography, I examine my haunts and invite others to do the same.
